Terms of Service

By accessing or using Monoma's website or application, you agree to these terms. If you're using Monoma on behalf of an organization, you're confirming you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Monoma connects to your organization's existing tools (Jira, GitHub, Confluence, and others as they're added) using each user's own credentials, builds a map of how tickets, PRs, docs, and people relate, and answers questions using that map. Where Monoma proposes a follow-up action — a status update, a comment, a workflow transition — it executes only after you explicitly approve that specific change.

• You must have the authority, under your own organization's policies, to connect the tools you connect to Monoma.
• Monoma acts within the permissions of the individual user who connected each tool — never beyond them.
• You're responsible for the accuracy of the credentials and access you grant, and for revoking access when it's no longer appropriate (e.g. when someone leaves your team).

You agree not to use Monoma to:

• Access data or systems you're not authorized to access.
• Attempt to bypass the approval step required before any write action executes.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service, or attempt to reverse-engineer it.
• Use the service in a way that violates the terms of any connected third-party tool.

Monoma connects to third-party services such as Jira, GitHub, and Confluence. Your use of those services remains governed by their own terms. Monoma isn't responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party tools it connects to.

Monoma retains all rights to its software, branding, and the underlying product. You retain all rights to the data in the tools you connect — connecting a tool to Monoma doesn't transfer ownership of that data to us.

Monoma is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We work to keep the service accurate and reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Monoma won't be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

You can disconnect your tools and stop using Monoma at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms, and will make reasonable efforts to notify you first except where that isn't appropriate — for example, in response to a security concern.

We'll update the date at the top of this page when these terms change, and post material changes here before they take effect.
